“Journeying Home: Advent Readings for Adoptees Deconstructing their Faith” is a collection of 16 readings that hold grief and hope in tension, exploring the impact of adoption loss and trauma, while cultivating hope on the themes of Promise, Search, Home, and Reunion. There are four entries to read for each week of advent that include reflections, liturgies, poetry, journal prompts and more.

Journeying Home was created by adoptees who are familiar with questioning their faith and their adoption and the role these things have played in their life. Written primarily for other adopted people, all are welcome to purchase a copy for their own reflection.

Contributors: Anthony Vernon, Bonita Croyle, Matthew Charles, Natalie Boone, Tiffany Henness.
