The second edition of “Journeying Home: Advent Readings for Adoptees Deconstructing their Faith” is now available! Journeying Home is a collection of 17 readings that hold grief and hope in tension; acknowledging the impact of adoption loss and trauma while cultivating hope on the themes of Promise, Search, Home, and Reunion. There are adoptee-centered reflections, liturgies, poems, or journal prompts for each week of advent.
Journeying Home was created by adoptees familiar with questioning their faith and their adoption and the role these things have played in their life. Written primarily for other adopted people, all are welcome to purchase a copy for their own reflection.
